when a guy says "im only teasing" with a smile, are they flirting with you lightheartedly?

he was looking at my work/proj and poked fun at it jokely.we laughed. thats when he said, im just teasing (with a smile).he also grazed his knee with mine. wether thats accedental or not isnt clear. but he was being diffrernt with me.acting suave.

thing is i like his mate and im sure his friend likes me back, HE KNOWS that, (a bit of a i know you know situation)? he even winked at me once, that was a long time ago, around the time he found out i liked his friend.

then a week later, at a party i had a lot to drink. i was tipsy. when i first saw him in the bar said my name(for the fist time)& his head was tilted with a smile on his face?
a few time in the night he was rubbing my bak and asking if i was alright. then before leaving, he kissed (both cheeks of b-day girl) then he put his arm around me.i think he was hesitant and unsure about what to do with me...
and just kept looking at me. he rubbed my back asked if i was ok and put his arm around me again..and stood there..unsure..then he kissed me on the area under my eye, stood there for a bit wth his arm still around me,looking at me. then said to take care n went.thing is he kiss me

does it all mean anything...im getting a bit confused in my mind about his motives! as its all come out of the blue!!plus the one i like has injured himself and wont be bak for a while

then recentaly. we had a meeting in a studio and i was late. so i sat on the floor. then i saw him, leaning forward from the table he was at and was looking at me for a bit.

i also saw him on his bike and he saw me, we said hi, waved and he wasnt even looking where he was going and carried on smiling at me.

somethings up.but WHAT? coz this is not the way he is with me normally. his friend the one i like is away ill. and since then he is so different with me.

so why is his behavior towards me is so changed?
BTW..his friend the one i like and i are both shy. but there is a deffinate attraction between us and things have happened between us...to indicate that we like each other. we are just too shy!

BTW i am 21!
