Will the Republicans block this attempt?

The Democrats again are trying to help the average American not lose their prized possession and probably most important possession, their home.

Will the republicans allow this to go through or will they shoot it down again.

Reguardless of what happened in the past whether a person signed a contract knowing it was bad or not. Not helping people out in trouble with there mortgages will cost the government a lot of money if they do nothing. I really hope that this passes so people out there can get some much needed help.
It is not necessarily the faults of the people who are being foreclosed on. A lot of people were tricked into contracts that appeared to be great and the payments were affordable. When the credit crisis hit a lot of people are greatly affected by it.

Have you ever even read the fine print of the contracts that you have to sign. Like that one commercial about predatory lenders says, I dont even think an attorney could read this.
But you guys think like typical republicans. Take all you can and give nothing back, then point your finger at someone else.
