what do u think. need opinions and advice?

so my bf wanted a break. so we did for a week. he told me the reason bcuz he was confused about our relationship. at times it felt like it was fading away. but after a week, he realized he needed me as he said. i did ask him why did it feel like it was fading away, he just simply said idk. Like he really doesn't know why he felt that why. i asked him so many times but he still said he doesnt know. but we're still 2gether and everything but i just want a reasonable reason so then i know. maybe bcuz he really doesnt know,im kinda confused i already confronted him and everything and still says it. he said he wont do it again and that he was really sry. but he just needed sum time 2 think. we have never fought or argued this is actually our first, giving him a second chance wont be so bad...so all im saying is should i just let it go..and just move on with our relationship...or not let it go and observe and find out why he did wanted sum time off....during the relationship.
he told me he now knows what he wants.
