In your opinion, what's a liberal, what's a conservative, what's a Democrat, and

what's a Republican? In your own words, what is the definition of being a:
*conservative
*liberal
*Republican
*Democrat

Conservatives can be a social conservatives (concerned with how others live their private lives) or fiscal conservatives (don't overspend). Back in the day Republicans were more about being fiscal conservatives and far less about being social conservatives, but with the rise of the religious right, aka Fallwell, so too did the Republicans become more socially conservative. It broadened their base and gave them much more money from large mega church operations. I think that's all I'll write on for now.

the liberal wants to rewrite it.
a republican is for the People to hold the power.
a democrat wants government to hold the power and tell us what is good for us.
