Do you think Democrats know that Bush can't run for President anymore?

Because that's ever talk about! But they seem to forget all crap Clinton and Carter did.

Yes they know he can't be the president anymore but its a possibility that he can be the vice president for as long as he wants.

A vote for McCain is a vote for bush.

Vote Obama and escape the drama

Excuse me, but the Republicans spent 12 years running against Jimmy Carter until Bill Clinton came along. They're still running against him. But then, why should they stop? After all, they've been running against Ted Kennedy for 40 years, and he wasn't President. (Although his brother was a great one, but then, Georgie Bush is no Jack Kennedy.)

The point is, any of the Republicans who ran this time, including likely nominee John McCain, represents a third term for this most disastrous of Presidents since before the Civil War. And this country deserves better than Bush or any of his surrogates. Whether we will elect Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, I do not yet know, but either one would be light-years ahead of the incumbent.

a. we live in the present. It seems to me that all Bush supporters want to do is talk about Clinton (ooooh, he got a bj and lied about it. BFD.), and it was nearly EIGHT YEARS AGO.

Let me bring you up to date. We now have a president that hasn't stopped lying, while simultaneously refusing to answer questions under oath, and has prevented any member of his administration past or present from doing the same, effectively blocking any real power by congress or the courts to see justice done.

They must have someone to demonize, because other then that they have nothing.

Example:
Question: How will Obama fix the economy?
Answer: It's Bush's fault.

I only vote Democrat because when I add up all the bad policies and laws passed by both parties in the past twenty years, Democrats trail the Republicans by a very small margin. This could easily change in the future.

Both parties believe in policies that are bad for America. Neither party will stop the US from sliding into a recession (which should happen before November, so the election time finger-pointing should be fun to watch). And third parties don't have a voice. We're screwed--and no one is even looking for the answer--they're just trying to figure out how to blame the other guys. Figure out your finances now and be prepared for it.

I'd guess it's about 50/50. About half of them understand that, and the other half spend their time talking about how much better their candidate will be than Bush.
