Why would a moderate or conservative democrat vote for Obama.?

He has the most liberal voting record in the senate, do you believe he has changed his mind now or is pandering for votes, what issues would make a conservative or moderate Democrat vote for him, I am puzzled.

Labels such as liberal or conservative can be useful, it gives you an idea what the person would do in certain situations. Would you buy canned goods in a supermarket with out labels.
Some generalized rants but no good reason for a moderate or conservative to vote for Obama.
