Are we in a totally FARSE-FULL, HYPOCRITICAL and ILLEGITIMATE government

that is not Republican or Democratic? Why do we complain that our colonies don't choose statehood but we're more than willing to maintain them in perpetual colonial status?

If we're a truly democratic and republican "United States" for all our "U.S. Citizens" why do we keep colonies like Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and Guam where millions of U.S. citizens are indefinately kept in electoral disinfranchisement that prevents them from participating in a real Democratic Republic rather than OUR CURRENT GOVERNMENT:

-of ONLY SOME of the people

-by ONLY SOME of the people

-for ONLY SOME of the people

I don't recall any real complaint from the masses. But I also feel that our "territories" should be granted statehood.

Guam has a population of:154,805 (As of 2000)
Virgin Islands has a population of:108,612. (As of 2000)
Puerto Rico has a population of:3,808,610 (As of 2000)

Puerto Rico has more population than 21 of our states! So what is it that keeps it from Statehood? I dunno. It is probably the result of racism. Puerto Rico is a Hispanic island, and I would say there is a fear on at least on side of our 2 party system that fears their voting power.
