how come people hate republicans so much?

how come everyone is counting down the days until Bush is out of the white house, yet the democratic controlled congress has reelection percentage in the 90s when congressional job approval is lower than Bush's? People cant wait to get obama in the white house but the kennedy's keep getting elected

i would just like to remind everyone thay bush has done all he has with congressional approval. he got congressional approval for the war and he had to have congress pass the patriot act, so why does the hate only go 1 way?
also, republicans are for offshore drilling, which MAY or MAY NOT lower gas prices, im not an economist and will not pretend to be. but either way, a free market means the government cant control gas prices, so thats still not the fault of republicans.
this isnt about being republican or democrat, its just about people who hiss and boo one man when his political comrades when blame is on everyone
