...opinion poll happening now? Obama was declared the winner, but as seen on television stations throughout the country now the Washington State democratic party is conducting an opinion poll between Obama and Clinton.

What was the point of the caucus!?
I'd also like to know who pays for this meaningless symbolism!?

Washington state holds a caucus and a primary and as you can see the results of the primary differ a lot from the caucus. Proving caucus system is a bad representation of the people. The caucus only determined half the delegates. The rest are determined at the convention.

The caucus determined the delegates from WA for the democratic candidates. The primary is meaningless. Many won't vote simply because it doesn't matter.
