| poltical racism in america and the difference between Democrats and Republicans? as i've been purged down in relating in this poltical racism ideal i've been tell myself how did the united states get from being a nation with no racism towards a poltitical structure to a country that says terrible things about their enemy candidate. as i've been seeing the lower class and the middle class fire off rockets of anger even though they haven't research on their candidate. the political racism is causing the middle class and the low class to loose its structure while the political leaders say screw you i'm gonna screw everyone. What I think in my mind is a childish remarks with blaming that the Republicans are evil or the Democrats are evil. I can agree that some democrats and republicans have a tension to not follow their party once elected. My question is what is the difference between the Republicans and Democrats and if so can they work together. a solution to this problem is vital if the parties are gonna be continuing for the next 100+ years |

| I'm not sure I follow what you are saying. If slavery isn't racism, then I'd agree with you that this country got started with "no racism", but our first president owned slaves, and this is widely recognized. I think we've come a long way in terms of racism, and I'd like to know what you mean by "rockets of anger". It is freedom of speech which allows Americans to say that they don't want to have a black president. Freedom! You may not agree with their statements, nor the fact that they actually consider his skin color as a focal point for his readiness for presidency, but America used to be about tolerance. There are always going to be those extremists, racists, purists, the ignorant, whatever, but they constitute a very small percentage of Americans. Tolerance is key. The role of government should be to protect our rights, not to suppress an unpopular idea. As for answering the second part of your question, there is no difference between Dems and R's. Their differences can only be measured in fractions of a whole policy which isn't going to change regardless of who you vote for... UNLESS you vote for Ron Paul. He is the exception to the rule, and I will vote for him as a Libertarian and Constitutionalist. |
