Do you think video games are beginning to lose it's impact that it had? Share your opinions.?

I'm finding video games less and less fun by the year, and I hate when this happens. I have a Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360. Games don't have as much variety as they used to, and aren't as fun anymore. A large majority of the games are 3rd Party Games.
Don't get me wrong! They had some good games.

Assassins Creed
Mario Party 8 (it was okay)
MGS4
PBR
etc. But after I beat them, I found myself selling them to EB games for some kind of compensation.

Who thinks Gaming is flourishing?

Who thinks gaming is dying out slowly, and if so how long until gaming becomes some what obsolete?

I'd say within the next 7 or 10 years.
