Do Democrats Damn McCain if he does and damn him if he doesn't on Iraq?

First of all the Iraq Prime Minister never supported Obama's timeline and he says this himself so I see no reason to argue it any further:

But, it was the surge that will allow the troops to leave Iraq in 16 months, yet the Dems blame McCain.
McCain never put a timeline on the war he said we needed to win no matter in 16 months or more.
I do not care who stands by what... If the Iraq Prime Minister says with his own mouth he did not make that statement, then he did not make it. As expected some interpeter twisted his words to help Obama.
