Mercury Nominations...Opinions?

The Mercury Music Award Nominations were announced earlier today, and I think they've uncovered a lot of little gems!

Radiohead and Robert Plant were to be expected, but I was pleasantly surprised by Laura Marling , British Sea Power and Elbow making the cut. Who do you think has a good chance, have they missed any important bands out (Coldplay, Duffy, Lightspeed Champion, Foals, Vampire Weekend, Portishead, Mystery Jets - not sure if all of these were in the time limit, and if Fleet Foxes were within the limit it definitely should've been nominated! But, I don't think they were. Next year, maybe?...), and, most importantly, can that Alex Turner go a year without a nomination?
