Obama has made out pretty well too over the past few years thanks to the great job and big money they bring to Chicago by protecting commodities exchanges.
Is this why Durbin and Obama have told Pelosi that the Dems must protect the commodities exchanges and the big donations they get from the "Chicago Money Machine"?
As Majority Whip, Durbin has been in charge of "correcting" the oil speculation, but he and Dems have done absolutely nothing about it.
Did you know that Republicans jumped on Durbin by asking the Dems to approve another 100 "investigators" at the CFTC to investigate speculation?

Republicans have begged for more investigators since the Dems said "it's speculation." Why? Because Republicans know Durbin will protect the exchanges and all of the jobs. Dems can't afford to ship the jobs to Arab nations. Right? The Dems would upset a lot of people in Illinois. Right?
