when will the democratic and republican candidate be chosen??

when will the 2 candidates be chosen? I need it for an essay.

The Rep is basically chosen already. John McCain.
The Dem is pending the next few states. If Obama sweeps tonite (HI and WI) and then takes Texas...Clinton is done.

G-Man has a spectacular aura about
McCain pretty muc h has it locked up. He needs 1195 delegates to get the nomination.

On the Dem side to lock it up you need 2025 delegates, but since the beginning I have said neither would have enough and it will go to a brokered convention.

Each person has to get a certain number of delegates for republicans I think it's like 1,000 and something , for democrats it's like 2,100. the first person to get that many delegates wins his parties nomination
