should i do this..please tell me your honest opinion?

my last trip to india was in december 2003..just last july, my cousin from india was in new york for a month..he was here to take a course for work..i went to new york to visit him and his sister during his last weekend..in november, my sister went to india for work and he called me and he was looking forward to seeing me as well but i told him i got busy then he said omg! everyone is busy..he asked my mom when i can come and she said during my holidays and told him i have vacation in june and july..my question is should i write to him for holi..if i do, then i know for a fact that he will ask when i'm coming to india..i dont want him to say he had to go back to new york this year and find out that i'm not coming..i havent written to him since october 2007..my other main cncern is he called me in october 2006 complaining i stopped writing and calling and suggested i call and write once in a while to catch up..i dont want to hear another complaint from him..what should i do
since i am in college, all of my friends say i should go to india now before i never get a chance to go..i called india for new year's, and i talked to my uncle but he didnt ask me when i'm coming..i'm thinking about going for a certficate in medical assistant..if i do that, then hopefully i graduate in december so i can start working..please tell me ur honest opinion
