After the Civil War, the Democrats reformed their image.
Due to great leaders and advocates of Civil Rights. Like
John F Kennedy, and Jimmy Carter. Not to mention
Lyndon B Johnson. Which was a critical moment, to the
Black Community. Therefore as a result. Republicans, who
are overwhelmingly White, and Southern Descendants,
have a reputation for being anti equality for people of color.
As well as the role the Klan played in all of this. Which is why
most hate groups are Down South, MORE than any other place in the US. So with the dissimulation of the Lincoln
Republicans, came the Progressives, and Liberals. Who
are more pro active when it comes to human rights, and
equality. =)

The Democratic party are good at PR and a master of using hate to gain votes. There the same people who state that Republicans are for the rich, but the Democrats in congress has more money. It's funny that they claim they support the working class, but they come on the internet and insult the Republicans for being trailor trash. It's odd how they are immune to criticism since they have there own people who are members of the KKK. That they make a big deal about Nixon committing a crime while rationalize that CLinton's crime should be ignored since he is a good President. These people obviously haven't weighed the two side by side to see what they actually done for the country. It may not be exactly racism for them to call Republicans racist, but it's close. Making a negative generalization of a diverse group is what these people are doing.

I'm a Republican with no ties to the South or the kkk.In fact up to the 2004 Presidential election I was a registered Democrat.May be getting Saved opened my eyes to how the dems have drifted away from the Truth.

Certainly not all republicans are racists. However, there is a percentage that are. Although generalization in and of itself is a logical fallacy, it is common among activists, pundits and politicians of both parties.
