Why are republicans always pointing out how a meltdown will occur if a democrat is elected president?

that will happen

the country will implode

the terrorist will invade us ...etc...


but they the republicans while beating the drums of fearmongering, seem to ignore what goes on while a republican president is actually currently in office.

Its almost like they want us to be afraid of what could happen but be very accepting of what "is" happening as we speak.
