Why do people vote for Republicans?

I used to 'think' I was a Democrat until I did some research and realized I was actually a Republican with more of a leaning to being a Libertarian. No....I'm not selfish and I wasn't dropped on my head by my mother. I just learned the facts and the real differences between the parties. I find that more younger people are Democrats, and as they get older, many will become Republicans. Many people don't begin being a Republican. Unfortunetly, in schools, kids get brain washed into thinking they ought to be Democrats. and that 's what they are until they wake up and realize that they were voting wrong all along. That's what happened to me. The only thing I personally don't agree with about the Republican Party is on Health Care.

They enjoy being out of work, having to pay higher prices for everything, watching their 401k savings get stolen, sending their children to sub-standard shools, and then to die in war.

Of course, sub-standard schools are at their core philosopy. They need stupid people to vote for them.
