my boyfriend doesn't have an opinion on anything?

I can ask him the simpiliest thing and I feel like there is an echo in the room I should just have a conversation with my self, It would save more time. I will ask him what he wants to do to night - his response, I don't know what do you want to. I'll ask him what he is hungry for - his response, I don't konw what are you hungry for

This goes on and on with everything. he has no opinion on anything, and if I suggest something he doesnt like he says no I don't want that or I don't want to do that, but he never offers suggestions.

This is so irritating to me, and I have told him this many times.

Any suggestions?
