What Are Democrats Candidates Solutions To Bad Parenting?

Currently, there are many ill-informed people creating children that they cannot afford to take care of. What would Democrats candidates do to encourage people to stop the psychologically detrimental act of creating children while in extreme poverty?

promoting safe sex, and safe sex education. Though not 100% fool proof, it's the best your gonna do.
It's better then the unrealistic Repub. plan of promoting abstinence.
Either way, you can't stop people from having kids, no matter how dumb, or how much you disagree with their parenting skills.

Edit: Better then the Repub plan of ONLY teaching abstinence.

Though I agree that some in society should not procreate. I do not believe it is the Governments job to legislate whether people have or can afford children, whether it is a Republican or a Democrat in office. (In my opinion all politicians are liars and are worthless. We should get ride of all of them, from the Pres. on down and start over)

Say it does happen and the Government gets involved. Exactly who is going to be the moral compass to decide if Ms. Jones is mentally capable to have a child or if Mr. & Mrs. Smith aren't making enough money to afford a child. And IF this moral "sheriff" decides they shouldn't be allowed to have a child exactly What happens? Do they put the child in the system and shuffle them from Foster Home to Foster home and we end up paying for them with our taxes until they are 18 and thrown out to fend for themselves? Do they put them up for adoption and hope someone wants them BEFORE they get too old and unadoptable? Do they decide abortion is the answer?

Sorry you can not legislate that.

If the Democrats' 'safe sex' approach was working ANY better than the Republicans' 'abstinence' approach, there wouldn't be so many abortions

People don't take precautions very seriously when they know that they can just terminate the pregnancy anyway...Check out the statistics on the rise in the number of unwanted pregnancies since the Roe V Wade decision

People need better EDUCATION, and they need to be taught responsibility...period
