I need honest opinions on this poem please!?

Do you see it
Or feel the pain
Oh the fires you've lit
Shining on my distain
Let me loose
So I may live my life
Are you that obtuse
You don't understand my strife
Why can't you see
I wish that you could
How you affect me
Oh that you would
But I hide away
Afraid to be hurt
Worse than today
I'm far to curt
We can't exsist
Together can't happen for us
No matter how I wish to insist
No matter how my heart may fuss
If only I could find some fault
With you or your life
And bring my heart ache to a hault
and end this pointless strife
But that is lost hope
Because it involves moving in
Close enough to grope
At Love that might have been
I refuse to do it
To fall even further
No I think I'll sit
In my safe little harbor
So I'm stuck in this snare
I've laid for myself
Terrified to care
Longing to put my heart on a shelf
Just out of sight
And spare it from this pain
Until the time is right
And I can love again
