opinions on sound system?

i have a 92 300zx (hatchback) that came with 2 infinity speakers in the back and 2 stock bose speakers in the front. i want a sound system that focuses more on highs/mid range than bass. i plan 2 buy better speakers in the front+good tweeters. any suggestions? also i just bought a 1500 watt rockford fosgate amp. i only want 2 10" subs since i dont want the bass 2 drown out the words and instruments. i am going 2 put the 10s in a custom made box on the side of my trunk walls. so i am going 2 buy temporary subs either 2 12" pioneers(1200watt) or 2 15" fosgates. which 1 would b the better choice?? also what are some good brands and what do they specialize in (highs/bass/vocals/etc). ty
are rockford fosgate amps good? since ive heard that getting the same brand amp+subs=better sound

Try Pioneer or Infinity for your highs/tweeters.

Now, since you say that you don't want the bass drowning out the words... go with the Pioneer 12" subs.

But if I were you, I would stick with the RF combo You put together... Great setup. It looks pretty good. REAL GOOD!
