I don't think McCain is anti-Catholic. People get endorsed all the time by people who they don't agree with.
I am not supporting McCain. I just think we need to be fair.

I don't know McCain personally. I imagine there are two reasons for him not repudiating Haggee's endorsement:
He needs the evangelical vote to get elected He wants to be President of the whole country, not just those he agrees with. The first reason is probably the most important for him. At least for now.
