| Maths teachers opinions...?
I took AS maths because I got 2 A's for GCSE maths, and it was only because of this I took it, I also think those A's were a fluke! Anyhow, I struggled since the beginning of the term and asked to drop it once or twice and always got told no (I hadn't given it a fair try etc). It's not that i'm lazy, its just draining all my energy, and my other subjects are suffering for maths. They told me I could drop it if I got a U in my C1 module, which I did. One of the teachers told me yesterday I could drop it from today, and when I went to get the paperwork signed, they said it wasn't the best idea. I take bio, maths, spanish, critical thinking and general studies as AS levels. Although the 2nd two aren't great they still count at my uni of choice.
That do maths teachers think? Is it worth cutting my losses or is there any chance of being able to understand all this work this late on?
Thanks!
