Why do republicans and conservatives avoid answering thought provoking questions?

Republican and conservatives aside(for the moment), the average "person" politically has an attention span of about 90sec. This may suggest why the republicans were up in arms for impeaching Clinton for lying about a BJ yet forget about the illegal Contra involvement Pres.Bush lied about. Or how conservatives deemed Pres. Regan as the true representative of conservativism yet forget he was the cause of one of the largest tax increases this country has ever seen.
If you take a look at many of my Q&A's in the past the conservatives and republicans have not actually "answered" any of those questions. Instead they rant,misdirect,or give an unrelated question instead. Most all of them would not take the time to read my question in it's entirety and would respond half cocked or give facts that had nothing to do with the question at hand. Do they feel if it was writen by republicans it's good enough for them so no need to read? See my other Q&As and see if U spot this pattern as well.

Me thinks it wouldn't matter what kind of answer they gave you, you seemed so filled with hatred for Republicans that this would probably be labeled a rant as well if I told you I was a conservative

Sorry, but you left us no way to answer your question with any kind of real meaning. If you pose it again in a non-rhetorical form, I promise to try and answer it in some way you might be able to comprehend.

As for your rant; it was just too long to waste time reading. I was under the impression that we are just supposed to pose real questions on here. Try that.

It may have very little to do with the questions and more to do with the asker. Just a thought.
