your opinion about Autopsy....?

i m going to see autopsy next thursday..
one of my friend told me its really fearful to see a fresh human body being disected..and smell is unbearable..
i just want to know what's your thinking about autopsy..
is it fun or something else....?

My father was a cop and had to attend some. He said that it was pretty bad. It made him request that he did not have one after he died because of what he had witnessed. He also said the smell could be pretty terrible. I don't envy you. I couldn't handle it.

ive watched them do it on tv...it dosent bother me after all one thing i wanted to do after high school is be an embamer...but i didnt

a co-worker of mine is training to be a cop and was able to view an autopsy. she said it was really cool and it doesn't really freak you out. shes one of those people that can watch others get hurt, but passes out when it happens to her. she also said it was like watching a horror movie, but without so much blood.

No its not fun... why would that be fun. its probably an experience if you arent a technician, but i would be devistated.
