| Baptists, what do you think of this covenant theology opinion on your baptisms? Your own kids are unwashed, and you leave them in a pagan state for years, until they follow the "proper form" of "conversion", which must be an emotional experience... a crisis. And yet, as though they have a relationship with God, you have them praying at meals, going to church with you, doing Christian things they don't need to be doing anyway if they're lumped in with the pagan kids that have nothing to do with the Christian life. Your turn, I'd like to know your thoughts on this.      |
