I have a great one my mom used to make, and it's healthy.

Get celery, peanut butter, and raisins. Chop the celery into three or four inch lengths. (Chop horizontally so you retain the trough or canal in the celery). Fill the trough with peanut butter and place the raisins in a line in the peanut butter. It's called Ants on a Log; kids love it! Or at least I did...

Well toddlers are kinda tough to feed. For Jungle day, you could use animal crackers. Maybe the kind with frosting. To make it educational, you could ask what each kid thinks the animal is or looks like.

Creepy Crawlers Snacks

Dirt N' Worms:
Crumbled Oreo cookies in a cup with gummy worms.

Tropical fruit tray:
Bananas, pineapples, star fruit, mangos, and any other tropical fruits you like. Just cut them up into small one inch pieces. This makes it just right for small hands.

Decorated cupcakes:
Make your favorite flavor cupcakes and decorate them as different animals using different colors of frosting and candies.

Animal Crackers with peanut butter to dip into.

Tropical Trail Mix:
Add different kinds of dried tropical fruits and nuts;pineapple, coconut, papaya, macadamian nuts, brazil nuts... and whatever else you want add.

Think jungle colors, shapes, envirnment textures! Green comes to mind when I think Safari, so how about fruity, green punch? Apples or berries, fruits you'd find in the jungle. Just as if you'd like more ideas.

Just avoid the dreaded goldfish! You can do better than that. (even though they're delicious)
