My five-year old son came home from preschool with a black eye?

I picked up my son today and he was crying and his left eye was bruised. I asked him what happened when we got home and he said that some kid came up to him, and asked him for the block he was building with, my son said no, then he was hit.


What do I do?
Obviously not about the eye, he has ice on it, but the situation.
My son is most certainly NOT mentally challenged. He started preschool when he was four and turned five in October.

Kids will be kids. Discuss it with the teacher. But the bottom line is " Caca occurs".

w/e...Just talk to the teacher, and have a talk with your son about how that is wrong, so he doesn't do it too.

You should have spoken to the teacher when you picked him up, obviously he was not carefully watched, it takes a hard hit to give a black eye. Shame on that pre school.

go to the school and find out the whole story.and until you find out everything i wouldnt push for anyone to be punished.not saying hes fibbing,but maybe hes not telling everything which is normal for kids.my oldest once got in a fight on the bus,i was so mad the other child didnt get punished i went up there to find out my little angel started it,lolol.point is she wasnt telling me everything.
