My 4 yr old started hitting other kids at preschool since the birth of his brother.

What can I do to stop it? I have been consistent in reprimanding him about his behavior. Time out does not work. Taking away a favorite toy is not working. I just don't know what else to do to resolve this situation.

spank him...i got spanked and i turned out fine...parents are too liberal nowadays. Its not abuse to spank a child.

it sounds like this is his way of showing or letting out anger about him not being the center of attention anymore. make sure to admire him as well as the new baby and include him in activities with the baby so he can get to know and have fun with him. also explain that you love BOTH of your boys very much and equally
