Tiff has a spectacular aura about
preschool requirements?

my daughter turned 3 last week and i was wanting to put her in a preschool but i dont know what the requirements are. I know she needs to be up to date on her shots but thats all i know. What does she need to know before they will take her? And shes not used to being away from mommy and daddy, will that make it difficult? Also we live in Kansas if that helps, some people think im from the uk for some reason. Any kind of insight on this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance!

you will have to ask the preschool that you plan on putting her in. there are different requirements for each school ranging from up to date shots to the more stricter policies of knowing certain things.

Up to date on shots and potty trained are the usual requirements for most preschools.

You need to have her immunisations up to date. Some require toilet training, but it depends where you go.
Once there, sometimes they provide lunch and drinks for the day, but some dont. You really need to ask the centre.
The one I have sent all my kids to (small country town in Australia) have a special needs assistant also, so anything any of the kids that go there are having trouble with, there is always someone to help.
I have to provide lunch and their drink - usually lunch, a piece of fruit to share (so kids get a variety - all the fruit gets cut up & divided between all the kids), a snack and a drink in a drink bottle - they put all the lunch boxes in the fridge.
It's hard letting go for both parent and child the first couple of times, but the staff are there to help and should be used to dealing with it.
Good luck darl
