I'm a computer science major and im graduating in 1 1/2 years, what...

...certifications should I hold? I currently hold no certifications and constantly hear that IT professionals are mainly hired for their certifications. I wish to work somewhere in the field of network security and software engineering. I finish in about 1 1/2 years, Im overwhelmed at the many certificates and some of them are just way too expensive, I don't know what to do and I'm hoping I can secure a job. What should I do?
