UCSD psychology major?

I had a question for anyone who is a psych major at UCSD or knows about it. Is it possible to take all the required upper division classes in large classes, or will there be some that require discussions?

I also saw a list of required classes here: http://psy.ucsd.edu/undergraduate/undergradba.html I was wondering how it worked--there are the core classes and then a requirement 'a minimum of 12 classes' for the electives. Does that mean we get to pick and choose which ones we want to take?
