I have a major in psychology but I do not want to do anything in that field....

...Suggestions? OK my girlfriend is majoring in psychology and she has one year left. She has decided that she does not want to be a psychologist, but maybe do something in the business field. Does anyone have any suggestions on some possible careers?

Get the degree first, no matter what it's in. THEN, try to morph and use that to go into other fields. Employers just care that an applicant is educated, not necessarily in a specific field.

Go ahead and finish the degree.

Figure out what you want to do and then get a graduate degree in that field.

If your girlfriend likes business, she may want to get an MBA.
