| If I major in psychology, and I become a consouler, is there a market for me? What type of people would I have to be dealing with? What kind of medical problems may result as an effect of psychology on my mental state? If I still major in psychology, what other slightly non streesful jobs do I have?      |

| You will probably need a Masters or even a PhD. However, there are many, many screwed up people in the world. You will never be out of work. You will need to be creative, though. If not where you are, then someplace else. If not earning lots and lots, then, at least, earning enough. |

| I agree with the first person who answered. However, I have two friends that have a degree in psych but they can't seem to find any jobs, it's been 6-10 years and still looking. I feel sorry for them, because they have finished school and now they are stuck paying their student loans and working minimal wage type jobs, like retail and such. My advice, pick something else. |
