| Do I Need Therapy(Psychology Survey). Answer truthfully yes or no please. Thanks. =D? Do I Need Therapy? Confused Thinking A)I heard or saw, heard or felt things others told me were not real. B)My speech or thought were incoherent without apparent cause. Impulsive Behavior A)I worry that people I care about will abandon me. B)I feel empty most of the time. Eating Disorders A)My self-image depends on my weight B)I’m concerned about being overweight Neediness A)I’m extremely preoccupied that my experience is different when one relationship ends, I seek a relationship quick. Traumatic Experiences A)I relived a horror of a traumatic experience. B)I had disturbing dreams about a traumatic experience that happened in the past. Anxiety A)I feel fatigued, restless, \ irritable, tense, or distractible. B)I limit my behavior in an attempt to ward off another attack. Alcohol & Drug Use A)I noticed that important activities and responsibilities in my life were suffering as a result of my drug or alcohol use. B)My substance use led to legal problems. Mood A)I felt sad, unhappy, and alone mostly everyday. B)I experienced cloudy thinking and had trouble concentrating C)I became noticeably more talkative. Sexual Concerns A)I have little or no desire to engage sexual activity. B)I find it difficult to be sexually aroused. C) I rub myself against strangers. I don't need therapy, sorry if I didn't explain myself correctly. I just need a yes or no answers from you guys if you are having these problems, it's an assignment in my PSYCH class. Sorry guys. |

| I am a licensed mental health practitioner but w/out knowing more about you the best I can do is give professional advice. It seems as though you have taken some online assessments for mental illness which are usually not too accurate as far as being validated by empirical evidence. Regardless, you should go to a local counselor and get a professional assessment to decide if you need therapy. The general rule of thumb is, if something is impairing your life, work, relationships significantly enough to where you find it difficult to function normally then get therapy. You would be suprised to know that even healthy people go to therapy to make their lives even better! You can learn a lot about yourself and become an even happier, more insightful person.
