I have a M.S. in Counseling & a B.S. degree in Psychology. What other job fields could use these skills?

I am interested in using my skills to break into human resources or the corporate world. I also have minors in Mass Communications (emphasis in PR & Journalism) & Sociology. Any advice for getting into these fields?
If you are in a hiring position, would you hire me? Why/why not?
