what are the criteria for doctorate in clinical psychology?

im pursuing my MSC in applied psychology(correspondence),India.I want to do my doctorate in clinical psychology from abroad.can someone help me out with the criteria's for doctorate and the scope for abroad studies in this field(psychology)?please help i am confused!!!
