Trouble has a spectacular aura about
if i have the authors name then the quotation, do i need the source?

i'm writing a research paper and i'm opening with a quote.

As Karl Marx once said, “History repeats itself, first as tragedy, then as farce”. If one were to look through history, similar situations would arise all through the centuries.

that i the first two sentences of my paper - i need to know if i must cite this quote even if i never used the source again. or is having the authors name enough?
the second paragraph is supposed to start off:

that is the first two lines...

sorry for the typo
