Please interpret this short quotation?

Or . . . not knowing anything about John Keats, you could interpret that as him saying he wants children. Your bloodline is "immortal" if it is carried on by your children.

NEW. The little I do know of Keats is that he died rather young. Is it possible that he knew he was ill at the time he wrote this letter? Perhaps he knew he was ill, perhaps he was already familiar with death in his own family.

Something to think about.

Well my friend when he speaks of long to beleave in something its used to express passion when u long for something u crave it or want it despertly like longing for someone in laymans terms he wants to baleave that life can last for ever
