| Why DO some "people" randomly CAPITALIZE words and/or put them in "quotations"?
When it's completely unwarranted? I understand why capitalization and quotations are used in certain circumstances, it just seems like some people on R&S use it in the most random places. SHOULD I start "typing" like that too?  Well it makes sense to use capitalization to emphasize a word but sometimes it's the most random word they're emphasizing. That makes no sense. Quotations are very misused, they're not supposed to be for emphasizing. If not quoting someone, they usually denote irony. That's why I don't "get" it. No no, I'm not saying all capitalization is bad, just capitalizing random words without any rhyme or reason.      |
