How Would You Feel If Your Child Told You They Weren't The Same Religion As You?

Even if you raised them as a Christian, Muslim, Atheist, etc., how would you feel and react if your children(or future children) told you that just wasn't what they believed?
SALVATION what if they don't believe in Jesus? What would you say or do?

Christianity IS NOT a religion and thank God I wasn't blessed with any children.

I would respect them whatever choices they made

the girlfriend and i have 'discussed' this.......LOL

and, i still wont let her baptize my babies

she's working the magic on them, I'm sure one day I'll have to of Christ's chosen, as long as their happy, then I'm happy

Religion is man made. All I want for my children is to have a personal relationship with Jesus. It doesn't matter what religion they chose. As long as they follow in the steps of Jesus. Religion won't get anyone to heaven. Faith in Christ will.

In one respect I would feel that I'd done my job : They realize that God is the most important element of life. As St Augustine said on this topic : It's easier to divert a river than to create one.
