I'm curious to know why the atheists are in a section called religion &spirituality?

But hey, I'll assume you didn't know that...and I'll humour you. R&S is not limited to those of faith. It is for people of faith and lack of faith to come together to seek and share knowledge. If someone asks a legitimate open-ended question about say, their waning faith...is it not fair that a former Christian, for example, be allowed to state their views?

I think so. I know that many people here are happy to read open responses from people of all persuasions. They also like a bit of a verbal joust, and tend to take most 'ribbing' in good humour. Perhaps this is something worth considering before trying to have all the non-faithies' opinions excised from this section.

Fortunately, your question only makes two of what I saw today...so I'm pretty sober and can answer you.

Now, like it or not, atheism and religion, no matter how opposite disbeliefs and beliefs are, coincide with each other. Think of it as good and bad, poor and rich, now, it's atheism and religion.

Also, R&S is a highly interesting section of YAnswers and we like asking and answering questions here as well as the rest of you believers.

Unfortunately religion wants to tell you about its view but it doesn't want to hear anyone elses. We also live under its oppressive practices and also in a democracy.

Because, It's intresting to read on other's believes. And question's like this get asked, And they're directed at us, You see? I also answer questions in the cat section, does this make me cat also?
