How can I introduce my partner to my religion?

My fiance was brought up without any kind of religious input, and is an agnostic. As a Christian, my faith means a lot to me, and I would like to be able to share it with him - he has shown an interest and has said that he would like to explore it a little further, the problem is that I have no idea where to start!

Before anyone answers I would just like to say that I firmly believe that religion is 'each to their own', so if you are going to tell me that I am foolish or wrong because of my beliefs, please don't - I wouldn't do that to you. I am not dead set on 'converting' him, he expressed an interest in the first place, so I do not feel that I am forcing my religion onto him. Should he decide he is not interested in Christianity then so be it, it is just that we have had some problems in the past and I feel that this may help our relationship.

If he's open to exploring your religion then the best person for him to talk to is your clergyperson. Make an appointment with the pastor/minister/vicar/priest and tell him/her that your partner is interested in exploring the faith but he is not decided if he will convert.

A sensitive clergy person will be able to answer his questions and explain things to him from your religion's perspective without applying pressure to join.

From a personal aspect, you can tell him what your religion means to you and how it enriches your life.
