Why are there so many atheists in the religion/spirituality section?

If atheism is not a religion, why are there so many atheists in the religion/spirituality section? Are you here just to create arguments?to some of you--no need to get all defensive! im an atheist too...im just wondering why the others are hereand to others--you're more immature than i am and im 13!

We come here for the booze (and the chicks, like Deke said).But here's the standard response: Atheists visit the "R&S" section because...We know many of the answers.We're interested in the topics.We've made friends here.Finally, of course... when we try to discuss our theological perspectives in the "Cats" section, they tell us to scram.(And personally, I usually have nothing better to do)

Why can't you have faith (believing in the unseen) and respect your own beliefs and the beliefs of others!? These types of questions simply expose and underscore the enormous insecurity of the asker.
