Ok so am I suppose to believe that my wonderful dogs who have been my best friends at times have no soul?

I believe animals don't have a soul that needs saving. I think animals and God are square, and always have been, so they will be in heaven.

Yes -- you are supposed to believe that. That's not to say that dogs don't have feelings, or don't have attachments to certain people (and even to other creatures, including other dogs). It simply means that once they die, they're dead -- they simply don't exist anymore. Dogs decide to be your "best friends" because it is instinctive for them to do so -- it is not a conscious choice borne of an intellect or a soul. .

Well I am Pentecostal and I believe that all the animals that were saved on the ark you will see in heaven dogs included. I am almost certain that I will see my cats butterscotch,tinkerbell, and inky, as well as my dogs peanuts and scooter. ( i will know scooter the minute i see her she will be the only one that doesnt listen).
