I agree with you 100% about the Catholic faith. It is totally apostate having rejected the clear teaching of the Word of God many centuries ago, and pretending to be Christian ever since. Unfortunately, many Protestant churches also are apostate, especially the liberal churches. I recommend a full gospel church, but you wil have to use discernment and pray for Him to lead you. One thing the Word says that is helpful here is that you will know them by their fruit.The so-called contradictions are tests for those who would not believe even if presented with an undeniable fact. Judas hanged himself, and when cut down (he was cut down, right?), his body fell, and whether striking something that opened it up or some other way, his bowels gushed out. There is no contradiction there. They are different accounts with different details. The only way you can start to understand God is stop trying to make Him fit your mold, believe that His Word is true, ask Him to reveal Himself to your understanding as you read. If you really want to focus on apparent contradictions, there are websites that do a good job of explaining them. But remember that scoffers and haters of God delight in bringing up things like this to try to discredit Him. They will all be discredited by Him when they meet Him face to face.I have trusted the Lord for over 25 years, especially through the 5 years my wife suffered with and died from ALS. She died 6 years ago, and my faith is stronger than ever. I have attended Assembly of God and Foursquare churches for 25 years. He is absolutely faithful.

For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. On the issue of contradiction:It depends on the one who reads it and for what purpose. A defense lawyer can craft contradictions on a document if his purpose is just to nullify it. But perceptive reader corrects ambiguity and vagueness of scripts to come up with an organized thought.I dont see contradiction with Judas hanging himself. Maybe you got confused with the name Judas Iscariot with other Judas'.Why do Christians speak different things?Because many so-called Christians are not gifted to explain the words of God. The bible says "how can they preach unless they are sent" (Rom 10:15). When you ask these preachers of their authority to preach, they want to say that you can also preach the way they do.The testimony of Christ is the spirit of prophecy.(Rev 19:10). Jesus Christ even opened the book of Isaiah to show his authority.Indeed, even to His death, the prophecy says so.Now, if you ask these preachers of things about their testimony they can not show anything. So how then how can you believe in a church in USA, UK or even Rome who hardly associate with a man named Jesus in Jerusalem? This is wonderful sign that Bible is not an open book for anybody to understand it. Someone is gifted by God to explain it. Just like Philip who guided the eunuch in reading the book of Isaiah (Acts 8:27--)But I can tell you that the bible speaks of a group of people called as servants of God. The book of Isaiah described it as isles in a far country in the east. If Isaiah prophecied about Paul in his preaching to Gentile world so with a man in a far country in the east to proclaim the words of God. Jesus Christ said that he has other sheep that will hear his voice and will be one flock (Jn 10:16)Just pray to God. Read about Cornelius in Acts chapter 10. You have same situation with him of finding salvation. Maybe you'll not meet an angel in your dreams to meet the messengers of God. But God will find a way for you to hear all things He wants you to do. (acts 10:33). Just like Cornelius who needed to meet Peter to hear the words of God and so with you who need to meet the messenger of God in these days.
