what religion is this??

i know a person who has to give 35% of his pay check to the church. he told his kids that theres no santa so dont celebrate christmas. he doesnt send his kids to school (they're all home school). he wont even let this kids watch tv. they dont celebrate anything .. even something fun like halloween. all women/girls have to wear long skirt. are they christians, catholics, or what ??im not familiar with this kind of religion acts..
