| I don't want to follow a religion, but I want to follow Jesus...could this be considered a sin?
I've been looking into different religions. If I find a religion I like, there is ALWAYS something that I DISlike about it. I still accept Jesus as my savior, and I believe in the Holy Trinity, but I would like to take an hour to worship Jesus in my own home, WITHOUT going to church. Here's what I mean by the 'sin': 1 of the 10 commandments said to 'keep the sabbath holy.' Doesn't that just mean to take time to pray and worship God??? I don't see how that means GO TO CHURCH. So...If I just took an hour a week to worship God, would that still be a sin (not going to church) |
